Alicia Shade Champagne
Alicia graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law and she is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, member of the 14th Judicial District. Alicia also attended UNC Chapel Hill for her undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Economics and was a Johnston Award Scholar and member of Pi Sigma Alpha and Omicron Delta Epsilon honor societies.
Alicia started her law practice in Durham, NC, specializing in criminal defense. In the process of getting to know her clients, she learned first hand that one legal issue can snowball into a litany of problems. She understands that clients often feel overwhelmed and intimidated when faced with legal issues and just don’t know where to turn for help. Alicia decided to expand her practice into the fields of family law and estate planning to better serve clients with the issues most people struggle with at some point in life. Today Alicia practices criminal law and family law with the skill and determination needed to get the best outcome for each and every client.
